TESTIMONIALS:
“Prior to working with Kaizen, I had tried doing my own unstructured sessions – resulting in overtraining and long term injury patterns. I also tried a Squad approach but found I could not make the session times and venues fit into my busy schedule. Working full-time in corporate, part-time at a gym, balancing other hobbies and a social life- I’ve really benefitted from having a personalised approach to training. Swimming had been a source of struggle and stress for me having not had any lessons since high school – but thanks to Macka’s extensive swimming experience and some extra technique sessions – I am much more confident in the water and even look forward to those sessions popping up in Training Peaks. He has a collaborative approach, is very communicative and has been really understanding in adapting sessions or weeks on-the-fly when illness, work or social commitments come up.” Sarah
"99% of us aren't professional triathletes with 7 days a week to fill full of balanced training, perfect nutrition and plenty of sleep. We're normal people with jobs and family and injuries and other commitments as well as triathlon. Coach Macka not only understands these challenges but encourages them to be a part of his training plans. I work more than 50 hours a week including night shifts and Macka still helped me to an Ironman PB and a ticket to Kona. I'd still be training and racing without a coach but Macka bleeds every second of efficiency out of the limited time I have. Couldn't recommend anyone more highly." Ben
“A few years ago, I got into running, I then got into cycling. Like many others, I thought to myself, why not add swimming and start doing triathlons...it can't be hard right? Little did I know how hard swimming was, especially as an adult with no swimming experience. Over the last year, I've been exposed to Macka's swim coaching which has really helped me physically and mentally with my swimming. With his guidance, tips and crazy good workouts, I can confidently say I'm getting better day by day and now enjoy swimming. Now having a passion for triathlons, I wanted to push myself. Solo training is great but I needed someone who could push me.
I knew Macka would be the perfect person and I do not regret this decision one bit. You can train solo and be good, but with Macka's knowledge, experience and his guidance, I swear his coaching gives your personal performance the edge and keeps your goals on track. Juggling training between work, family, a new born and two energetic dogs, Macka makes it work with your goals and your personal life. Given that, never would I have ever thought I'd be getting PB's is every single leg of the sport of triathlons. I genuinely can't wait to see what's next and can't wait to keep growing with the Kaizen Family.” Sai
